Unable to displease ‘mother’ Meghan, Harry puts his faith in his child’s British Royal inheritance rights

Prince Harry might be estranged from the Royal Family but that isn’t stopping him from holding out hope for a reunion, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex became estranged from the royals after he issued a number of damning statements against them.

He and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and things have gone from bad to worse over the years.

However, royal expert Tom Quinn believes the couple have now realised the devastating impact of the feud on their two children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – and are hoping to make amends.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Quinn said: “We know that Harry’s deepest upset concerns not just his lack of relationship with George,

Charlotte and Louis, but also his own children’s lack of a relationship with their cousins.”

Quinn continued: “Harry and Meghan would love to get round the problem – they would love it if the cousins could meet regularly and have a positive relationship as they grow up, but they cannot see a way to do it while they themselves, Harry and Meghan, are estranged. Harry has said that he hopes the cousins can at least be friends as adults.”

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are the children of Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife Princess Kate. Harry hasn’t seen the Prince of Wales in years amid their bitter feud.

Tom believes William has issued a stark reminder of everything Harry is missing out on away from the Royal Family. He previously told The Mirror: “William’s hints that his son George might follow in his footsteps and become a pilot will certainly remind Harry of everything he is missing – after all Harry was himself a helicopter pilot and would love to entertain his nephew with tales of his own time in the air. It’s a sad reminder that he has no relationship at all with George.” William revealed his son’s passion for planes during a chat with Reverend Squadron Leader Chrissie Lacey at a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

William also revealed his 10-year-old son would love to visit the RAF Coningsby base in Norfolk, as he is a “potential pilot in the making”. The Prince of Wales William worked as an air ambulance pilot in East Anglia when he was younger.
