Jennifer Lawrence’s wedding guests appear to have been sworn to secrecy at her wedding as none of them posted anything about the big day.
Even Kris Jenner’ Instagram was uncharacteristically silent, prompting speculation that the couple have imposed a social media ban on guests.
Other attendees included Sienna Miller, Adele, Amy Schumer, Cameron Diaz and Emma Stone.
Jennifer, 29, walked down the aisle yesterday as she wed her art dealer fiancé Cooke Maloney, 34.
The happy couple married in Belcourt of Newport, Rhode Island, an ornate Louis XIII-style mansion that has a minimum cost of $100 per head.
They were joined by 150 of their loved ones, and, according to TMZ , the happy couple enlisted the help of celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed, who operates in near-secrecy for his high-profile clients.
So private is his way of organising events that even his website is only available to view once you’ve booked an appointment with him to see his portfolio.
The owner of the property, Carolyn Rafaelian, spoke to the New York Times in 2013 about having the place cleansed of evil spirits.
She even had a shaman come in and perform ceremonies in the building to rid it of ghosts.
“There were energies and entities, some not pleasant”, she said.
“We did a major cleansing, energy-wise. There was a lot of heaviness, but we took care of that.
“Now the house has a different vibration.”
The couple were first spotted together in June 2018, and announced their engagement in February this year.
Jen’s ring is an emerald cut diamond on a simple thin gold band.
They threw an engagement party at the River Cafe in Brooklyn attended by fellow actress Emma Stone.
Guests at the wedding were served sweet potato flat cakes, brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk, smoked pork belly with pickled apple, and salt cod beignets (like doughnuts but savoury).
Once the guests were seated, they were treated to main courses of either wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon-infused butter, or leg of five-week-aged beef with forager’s sauce.
There was also smoked new potatoes, whey-braised cabbage and roasted heirloom carrots to wow their tastebuds.
