Many people rank Lil Wayne as one of the all-time great rappers, and one of his sons has since identified another artist that he believes to be his father’s heir.
Recently, Flophouse Atlanta had a conversation with Lil Novi, whose true nаme is Neal and who is the son of singer Nivea and Tunechi.
He was prepared with a thought-provoking response when asked to identify the best rapper of all time.
Well, obviously my father. However, in my opinion, [Playboi] Carti is now Dwayne. Okay, Carti. He is there if you think about it. He’s attained the degree. He’s accomplished absurd feats.
Lil Novi is genuinely pursuing a musical career in the same footsteps as his father, but opinions among fans are divided about the outcome thus far.
The 14-year-old shared a sneak peek of a new song on Instagram Live in March, accompanied by energetic dancing and hand sways.
The song, which has bass-heavy, video game-like sound and distorted high-pitched vocals, is inspired by artists like Lil Uzι Vert, Playboi Carti, and Yeat.
Although it’s difficult to understand the entire lyrics, Neal may be heard discussing sеx and Ԁrug addiction.
Fans shared their opinions on social media shortly after the video started to circulate online, and some weren’t too fond of it.
On Instagram, one critic commented, “Bro didn’t get the right genes,” while another said, “How is your dad one of the best rappers alive and you do this.”
With remarks like “Nah this better than Ken [Carson] its actually tuff” and “He gonna drop a bаnger in 10 years probably,” others, on the other hand, were more forgiving of the teenager.
November 2009 saw the birth of Neal, amid Lil Wayne’s erratic relationship with Nivea.
The couple was engaged in the early 2000s, rekindled their romance years later, and gave birth to their sole child together before deciding to call it quits in 2010.
