Angelina Jolie has lovingly praised her children for looking out for mum.
The actress opened up about life as a single mum in a new interview with E!
News, in which she revealed the tables have turned and her six kids are now super protective of her.
“I have six very capable children,” the 45-year-old told the outlet while promoting her new movie Those Who Wish Me Dead.
“Of course you wake up and you just feel like, ‘I’ve got to make sure they’re OK. I’ve got to make sure they’re mentally OK.’

But, honestly, I think a few years ago it switched and they’re thinking, ‘I’ve got to make sure mum’s OK.’”
Jolie is in the midst of finalising her divorce with actor Brad Pitt, who is the father of her six children: Maddox, 19, Zahara, 16, Pax, 17, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
The former Hollywood couple split in 2016 after 12 years together and two years of marriage. And, if anything, the split has strengthened the actress’ bond with her children.
“We’re such a team so I am very, very lucky,” she added. “I’m always the one who worries but I adore them. They’re cool people.”
The actress is more than happy to just spend her downtime chilling with her children. She has been single since her split from Pitt five years ago, but she’s not in a rush to find a new partner.
“I probably have a very long list [of ‘nos’],” she joked when asked about her dating do’s and don’ts. “I’ve been alone for a long time now.”
