Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Enjoy a Romantic Honeymoon in Malta
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not only Hollywood’s most glamorous couple, but also one of the most adventurous.
After tying the knot in a secret ceremony at their French estate on August 23, 2023, the newlyweds jetted off to Malta for a working honeymoon that combined business and pleasure.
The Oscar-winning duo, who met and fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005, decided to collaborate again on a new film
By the Sea, which Jolie wrote and directed.
The movie, which is set in the 1970s, follows a married couple who become obsessed with their neighbors while vacationing in a seaside resort.
Jolie and Pitt play the lead roles, while their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne, also have cameo appearances.
The family arrived in Malta at the end of August and stayed for eight weeks, during which they explored the beautiful island of Gozo, where most of the filming took place. They rented a luxury yacht, which they used to cruise around the Mediterranean Sea and visit various locations, such as Mgarr ix-Xini Bay, a secluded beach where they shot some intimate scenes.
According to sources, the couple and their kids had a blast in Malta, enjoying the local cuisine, culture, and scenery. They also celebrated Pitt’s 51st birthday on December 18 with a lavish party on board their yacht, which was attended by some of their close friends and co-stars.
Jolie and Pitt, who have been together for almost a decade, have always been supportive of each other’s careers and passions, and have often used their fame and fortune to help various humanitarian causes around the world. Their honeymoon in Malta was not only a romantic getaway, but also a creative collaboration that showcased their talent and chemistry on and off screen. By the Sea, which is their first film together since Mr. & Mrs. Smith, is expected to be released in 2024.
