Can’t wait to be on the desk each morning to start the day. And I’ll still be with my @nrlonnine family too…. hosting Sunday afternoon footy and sideline on Thursday night. Might need to purchase an alarm clock though ⏰ 😝.”

“It’s also a full-circle moment for me at Nine because, just 10 years ago, my first-ever job at the network was producing sport for Today. I’m also very grateful that I’ll still be working with the Wide World of Sports crew on the footy every week throughout the NRL season.”
Danika is no stranger to sports fans, having appeared on 9News, The Sunday Footy Show, NRL on Nine, and Wide World of Sports. She will continue to cover rugby league, including the newly revamped Freddy and The Eighth featuring Brad Fittler and Andrew Johns, which is set to move to television in 2025.
Her appointment was made official during a broadcast from Las Vegas, where she was on assignment with Today host Karl Stefanovic, covering the NRL.
