Davood Ghadami, best known for his role as Kush Kazemi on EastEnders, has reportedly separated from his wife, Isobel, 

and entered into a relationship with his former pantomime co-star, Melanie Barker. 

The 42-year-old actor, who was previously married for over a decade, is now said to be living with 32-year-old Melanie, 

with whom he shared the stage in the 2022/23 pantomime production of Aladdin at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

According to sources, the connection between Davood and Melanie developed during their time working together on the production. 

While performing in the show, the pair allegedly exhibited noticeable chemistry both on and off stage, with reports suggesting they flirted during the run. 

After the pantomime concluded, the two continued to stay in touch, eventually leading to the end of their previous relationships and the start of their romance.

The new couple is said to have blended their families, with Davood bringing his two daughters, Eve, 12, and Grace, 9, from his marriage, and Melanie, who has three children of her own. The couple has reportedly set up a new home together in Essex, signaling the beginning of a fresh chapter in both of their lives.

A source revealed to The Sun, “They are both very attractive, and it was clear from the start that they had a strong, undeniable on-stage chemistry. There was lots of flirting backstage, but now the genie is out of the bottle, and they are officially a couple. Judge Bruno Tonioli’s remarks about their samba routine, which he suggested looked like a “race to the bedroom,” only intensified the rumors. “My wife watches me on EastEnders, playing a character who is married to or involved with other characters.
