Love Island star Tina Stinnes has offered an emotional update on Scott Thomas after he opted to skip the All Stars finale.

The latest season of Love Island: All Stars wrapped up last night, with Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman taking the crown as this season’s winners. 

However, Scott, who made the decision to exit the show weeks prior, was noticeably absent from the final episode.

Tina, who was paired with Scott during their time in the villa, has now shed light on their recent communication. 

Speaking to former islander Amy Hart during a livestream (as reported by The Mirror) ahead of the finale, 

she shared, “I have heard from Scott. Yeah, me and Scott have FaceTimed. […] We spoke today.”

When asked who initiated the contact, Tina explained, “Well, he always told me he was following me on Instagram, so when I got out [of the villa], I got confirmation he wasn’t when I was in there. So I said, ‘I told you you didn’t,’ and he said it was a glitch. […] Then we had a FaceTime and we’ve been on the phone. We had a really good chat.”

As for the possibility of meeting up once she returns to the UK, Tina remained open but cautious, stating that while an official “date” might not be on the table, a “catch-up” was certainly something they planned to do.

Scott’s departure from the show stemmed from his uncertainty about his connection with Tina, as he struggled with his emotions in the villa. Expressing frustration over how his journey had unfolded compared to other contestants, he eventually decided to leave.

During a heartfelt conversation with Tina before his exit, Scott explained, “I don’t feel like I can give you any more, and I think you fully deserve that.”

His departure also sparked some discussion after fellow islander Elma Pazar was perceived as influencing his choice to leave. However, Scott later defended her against criticism from fans, clarifying that she had no role in his decision, stating, “She had no part to play.”

Although Scott was not present for the finale, Tina’s latest comments suggest that the pair have maintained communication outside the villa. Whether their connection will progress further remains to be seen, but for now, fans will be keeping a close eye on any future developments between the two former islanders.
