Maura Higgins didn’t hold back when asked about her ex, Pete Wicks, during a Valentine’s Day outing with friends. 

The Love Island star, 34, and TOWIE personality, 37, recently ended their on-and-off relationship following a series of disagreements, 

and Maura wasted no time making her feelings known.

A Sassy Response to Their Split

As she left Sheesh restaurant in London on Friday night, Maura was approached by a photographer who asked about Pete’s whereabouts. 

Without hesitation, she quipped, “Dunno, probably cheating,” in a video obtained by The Sun.

Her remark comes just days after MailOnline reported that the couple had officially parted ways, agreeing they were better suited as friends. While neither had publicly commented on their romance while they were together, Maura’s pointed response suggests the split may not have been entirely amicable.

A Romance That Fizzled Out

Maura and Pete had been romantically linked for months, making public appearances together and even sharing a cozy getaway in Ireland over New Year’s Eve. However, despite the strong attraction between them, insiders revealed that their relationship was filled with ups and downs.

“Maura and Pete have decided to call off their romance,” a source told MailOnline. “There have been a few clashes, and it was eventually agreed they were better off as friends. Those closest to them know it’s been a very on-and-off relationship, which is why they were so resistant to go public in the first place. They remain close and share a deep connection.”

Although their relationship has ended, sources suggest a possible reunion isn’t entirely out of the question. “You never know with Maura and Pete. The attraction is so strong that you wouldn’t rule out a reunion at some point—even in the short term,” a friend added.
