and failed – to find a Welshman for his dance partner, Katya Jones, to date during their time together on the show.
Despite his best efforts to introduce Katya to every eligible man in Wales, it seems that love remains elusive for the professional dancer.
Katya, who has been single since 2019 following her split from fellow *Strictly* pro Neil Jones, has spent the past few years focusing on her career and personal growth.
The pair were paired up for the 2023 season of *Strictly*, and Wynne jokingly promised to help Katya find a new man, even going so far as to attempt to introduce her to multiple suitors.
However, Katya, 35, recently shared that their busy dance schedules simply got in the way of any serious matchmaking.
In an interview with *The Mail on Sunday*, Katya quipped, “Wynne said he would find me a husband in Wales but we were too busy dancing in the end. I am certainly still single. I’m going to have to ask him about that.” Wynne, 52, responded playfully, saying, “I did introduce her to every man in Wales. But unfortunately, none of them were good enough.” Despite the humor, it’s clear that the efforts didn’t quite work out as planned, and Katya remains unattached.
